WHere is a simplified version of a drink featured on our latest menu. This is a batch premix which is bursting with tastes of the holiday season, making it ideal for a holiday party. Save the extra citrus syrup to use in brunch beverages, sweets, or for additional servings of this cocktail.
Bikini Recipe
Makes enough for 10 servings
Ingredients for the Clementine Cordial (yields 750ml)
300ml newly squeezed clementine juice
200ml newly squeezed lemon juice
500g fine sugar
For the Drink (produces 850ml, enough for 10)
400ml premium vodka
100ml classic gin
150ml peach schnapps
200ml clementine syrup (from the recipe above)
Fresh cranberries, to garnish
Mandarin essential oil, as a final touch
Method
For the Cordial: Place every items into a pan, bring to a simmer, mixing so the sugar melts. After that, remove from the burner allowing it to reach room temperature completely. Decant into an sterilised bottle, cap it keeping it in the fridge, it will last for around one month.
To make Cocktail Base: Pour every spirits and syrup into one large bottle, allow it to infuse for 60 minutes, then filter it best through a fine cloth, so it's fully clarified.
For serving: Add 85ml of your batch mix into your mixing glass containing ice, and stir carefully for about 60 seconds to chill. Strain to a chilled martini glass or a similar vessel, decorate with some cranberries and complete it with a light spray of the essential oil over the drink.
